TRECE – A1076952
Gone - 6-18-2016 Brooklyn
*** GONE 06/18/16 ***ANOTHER CHANCE FOR TERRIFIC BEGINNER TUX WHO NEEDS NEW FRIEND–BE TRECE’S HERO! Now that poor three year old terrific beginner Trece has tested positive for FELV, this super loving boy is in extra need of a miracle. Trece, who came into the shelter with several of his feline friends (including A1076931-Uno (safe) , A1076943- Seis, A1076945-Siete, A1076949-Diez and A1076934-Dios–unknown status). In addition to testing FELV+, Trece seems to have a small BB pellet lodged in the right side of his head (which may require follow up care). Trece and his kitty companions were all “stray surrenders” but they all seem to be calm and gentle kitties who most likely once had homes. Each one deserves a new “leash” on life and a chance for a happy new life. Trece (like his purrfect pals) are low maintenance kitties who would be purrfect companions to just about anyone. Can you be the kind purrson to open your heart and home to Trece and perhaps one or more of his friendly feline pals? You can reserve this terrific beginner tux or contact a New Hope rescue who can help arrange transportation. Email our help desk and we will help you save Trece’s precious life–[email protected] Please don’t let his FELV status be death sentence. This precious pet deserves to be saved. Make the call for this beginner boy NOW!!!

06/15/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Please note that Trece is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. Reaction to assessor: Trece does not come to front but looks at you relaxed and friendly When spoken quietly: Trece comes to the front of cage soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: Trece remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Trece solicits petting and attention Try picking cat up: Trece is tolerant of this type of handling Behavior Determination: Beginner Trece was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Oden is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner.
