DIEZ – A1076949
Safe - 6-28-2016 Brooklyn Rescue: Feline Rescue of SI Please honor your pledges: http://felinerescueofstatenisland.org/donation/
***SAFE 06/28/16***DARLING BEGINNER DIEZ NEEDS YOU! Diez is an eight old fab fella who came into the shelter with his purrfect pal, Quince (also listed tonight) along with several other of his feline friends (including A1076931-Uno–safe , A1076942–Cinco–gone, and A1076934-Dios–still available). They were all “stray surrenders” but they all seem to be calm and gentle kitties who most likely once had homes. Each one deserves a new “leash” on life and a chance for a happy new life. Diez (like his purrfect pals) are low maintenance kitties who would be purrfect companions to just about anyone. It is noted that Diez may have recurring infections for the duration of his life but he is responding well now to antibiotics. Can you be the kind purrson to open your heart and home to Diez and perhaps one or more of his friendly feline pals–Quince who is also listed and Dios–still available? You can reserve this black and white angel online or contact a New Hope rescue who can help arrange transportation. Email our help desk and we will help you save Diez’s precious life–[email protected] Make the call for this black and white beginner NOW!

06/13/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Please note that Diez is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. Reaction to assessor: Diez comes to the front of the cage soliciting attention When spoken quietly: Diez stays at front and continues soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: Diez remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Deiz solicits petting and attention Try picking cat up: Diez is tolerant of this type of handling Behavior Determination: Beginner Diez was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Diez is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner.
