Reaction to assessor: Patches was stretched out on her blanket at the front of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Patches leans forward and tries to sniff the assessor’s hand. Reaction to cage door opening: Patches lip licks and takes a step back. Reaction to touch: Patches allows petting all over and rubs up for attention. She meows softly and tries to walk out the kennel. Reaction to being picked up: Patches was a bit tense but slowly relaxes in the assessor’s arms. Behavior Determination: Average Patches interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
