Martin was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He allowed all handling upon intake and during his initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Martin was calm and relaxed by the front. Reaction when softly spoken to: Martin sniffs around, rolls over, and leans on the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Martin remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Martin head-butts, leans in for petting, and begins to purr. He was very affectionate throughout the interaction. Reaction to pick up: Martin remains soft and purrs when held. Placement Determination: Beginner Martin interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
