** SAFE 07/21/16 **SKINNY AND MARBLE ARE PART OF A LARGER GROUP OF CATS WHO CAME INTO THE ACC – NOW THESE TWO PALS ARE GOING TO DIE IF SOMEONE DOESN’T STEP UP TO RESCUE THEM NOW!! SKINNY and MARBLE are two SUPER SWEET kitties who came form a hoarding situation. They are used to other cats and children. SKINNY is AVERAGE rated and here is what a volunteer had to say about him. A volunteer writes: Skinny is definitely skinny. He doesn’t look like a 2 year old at all, so he must have been the runt of his litter. But what he lacks for in size he makes up for in personality. He’s a cute little guy who just can’t get enough affection. He flops over on his back, and while you pet his neck and give him chin rubs, his little paws are just kneading the air in contentment. If you start to pull your hand away, Skinny jumps up and looks at you and then flops back down on his back. “More, more,” he purrs, “oh please sir, just a little more.” Five hours later… well, you get the picture. MARBLE is BEGINNER rated and just loves attention and was rolling over on her back begging for chin rubs and petting from the assessor. THESE ARE 2 WONDERFUL PETS WHO SADLY ARE GOING TO DIE IF A RESCUE ANGEL DOESN’T COME FOR THEM. PLEASE EMAIL THE HELP DESK AT [email protected] NOW FOR RESCUE INFO. THEY ONLY HAVE TIL NOON – AND THEY ONLY HAVE YOU TO SAVE THEM!!

07/08/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Petey lived previously with 4 adults and 2 children, as well as with other cats and dogs. The animals all got along well. She is reported to be playful and affectionate. Marble was a bit timid during her initial medical evaluation, but warmed up quickly to our enrichment team, waiting at the front of the cage and soliciting attention when approached. She showed similar behavior during her behavior evaluation, rolling onto her back, eyes soft, and extending her chin for scratches. Reaction to assessor: Marble is resting at the front of her kennel when approached. When she sees the assessor she immediately rolls onto her back, body curved in a C-shaped, eyes soft. Reaction to cage door opening: Remains on her back, relaxed, reaches for the assessor with her paws (nails withdrawn). Reaction to touch: Marble extends her chin for scratches, and allows petting on the head and body (note: the assessor did not touch Marble’s stomach). Marble is social and affectionate throughout. Placement determination: Beginner Marble interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
