SYBIL – A1090018
Gone - 9-21-2016 Brooklyn
***GONE 09/21/16*** SYBIL IS USUALLY SYNONYMOUS WITH THE MOVIE, OF A GIRL THAT HAS MULTIPLE PERSONALITIES…THIS SYBIL JUST HAS ONE…MAD AS HECK!!! And with every right! Fact one – She’s going to be killed by noon tomorrow unless a FOSTER OR ADOPTER is not found. Fact two – She will also need a New Hope rescue to come to her aid, since her fear has cost her a RESCUE ONLY rating! Fact three – This poor 6 month old had mild CONJUNCTIVITIS which they are NOT treating because they claim she’s too hard to handle! Add all that up and you get a kitten with every right to be flipped off! And now she’s looking for that special someone to contact a New Hope rescue and offer to FOSTER OR ADOPT her!

09/20/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Sybil was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Sybil was hiding in her feral den at the back of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Sybil makes eye contact from within the den but doesn’t come out. Reaction to cage door opening: Sybil remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Sybil’s ears bend flat and she hisses when the assessor extends his hand out. She swats when close by then quickly runs forward attempting to flee. Behavior Determination: New Hope Only Sybil is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. She has tried to swat, is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
