***SAFE 10/14/16 *** NEUTERED, FRIENDLY GUY TRAPPED!! PILLOW is a 5 year old who was trapped and brought to the ACC for some unknown reason….PILLOW is ear tipped but he is clearly not feral!! He is AVERAGE rated and super friendly. Didn’t even get upset at the medical exam!! So now that he was brought to the ACC germ factory, he caught their cold!! And instead of curing this wonderful fellow’s cold, they would rather kill him!! PLEASE SPEAK UP FOR PILLOW TONIGHT!! He’s a DREAMSICLE CREAMSICLE & deserves a HAPPY, LOVING HOME!! ACT NOW, BECAUSE YOU CAN BE SURE THE ACC WILL ACT AT NOON TOMORROW!!

10/09/16 11:03 Finder stated that Pillow was in the trap for all of her interaction with him but did state that he was rubbing against the carrier the whole time and was very friendly. Behavior during intake: Pillow was meowing at the front of the trap during intake. I was able to transfer him from trap to carrier without any issues. Once in the carrier, Pillow was at the front rubbing against the cage and meowing. I was able to scan for a mc, collar and take a picture without any issues.

Pillow was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Pillow was curled up, relaxed on her blanket. Reaction when softly spoken to: Pillow lifts her head up, makes eye contact but doesn’t come forward when coaxed. Reaction to cage door opening: Pillow is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Pillow meows softly then comes over slowly and brushes up against the assessor’s arm. Her tail is raised, she gives light head butts and he allows petting all over his body. Reaction to being picked up: Pillow was tense when picked up but remains calm then meows loudly as he looks around at his surroundings. Behavior Determination: Average Pillow interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
