***SAFE 10/19/16*** WOODY IS BACK ON THE LIST TONIGHT! PLEASE ADOPT OR FOSTER THIS CUTIE PIE!! IF YOU CAN LOOK AT LITTLE WOODY’S PICTURE AND NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT…THEN DON’T EXPECT SOMEONE ELSE TO… BECAUSE THEY PROBABLY WON’T! Too many people want to pass the buck to ease their guilty conscience, when THEY can be the one to save his life! WOODY is 4 months old and already NEUTERED. He’s so adorable in his picture, standing at attention as if he’s saying, “pick me, pick me!” He was scared at intake but then allowed handling and appreciated attention. EXPERIENCED person can snatch this little guy up and give him back his independence!

10/04/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Woody was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Woody was alert at the front of the kennel watching the assessor. Reaction when softly spoken to: Woody keeps his tail lowered and slowly inches away from the front. Reaction to cage door opening: Woody remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Woody was hesitant and leaned away when the assessor extended his hand out. He sniffs the assessor’s hand, allows petting all over and slowly warms up when rubbed on his cheeks. After a few soft passes he leans in for petting and seems to appreciate attention. Reaction to being picked up: Woody has a tense body when held, lip licks then jumps back into the kennel. Behavior Determination: Experience Woody may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
