**SAFE 07/01/16** NEW HOPE RESCUE is needed for small but mighty NOODLES, tonight! This guy is 4 pounds of frightened kitty, thought to be about 5 years of age and bearing scars which speak of a life lived rough. An old wound on his head, an amputated tail, a dull rough coat…..wherever NOODLES has been hanging out, he certainly has not been pampered. Noodles has probably learned that humans are not to be trusted, so his NEW HOPE rating comes as no surprise. Please don’t give up on this scrappy chappy. Find a foster/adopter who is willing to work with a NEW HOPE rescue to save him, tonight!

06/27/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Noodles was hiding in the cat den when I approached the cage When spoken quietly: Noodles continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: Noodles starts to look around nervously Reaction to touch: Noodles hisses, strikes and does not allows petting at all Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Behavior Determination: NewHope Noodles was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. Noodles seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment he was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. Noodles is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
