09/15/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Finn came into the care center as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. His finder, who was familiar with him, said that Finn appears to be friendly and gentle. Finn did not respond well to his initial medical examination, hissing and growling, but was social and tolerant during his behavior evaluation. Reaction to assessor: Finn is resting in his litterbox when the assessor approaches. Reaction to cage door opening: Remains in place, body soft. Reaction to touch: Finn is curious to interact with the assessor. He allows all petting, remaining relaxed in his litterbox throughout the interaction. Placement determination: Average Finn interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
