10/18/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/18/16 12:19 Oritz A1093877 is a young (according to the finder) “spayed” female brown tabby & white DSH feline who used to belong to their neighbor but they moved with their small breed dog about a month ago and left Oritz outside. The finder has been feeding her but feels bad for her being outdoors since she’s so sweet and she approaches dogs on the street. The finder isn’t able to keep her but stated she got along well with her former small breed dog housemate and is very friendly, they had no issue placing her into a dog crate to bring her in. During intake Oritz allowed all handling. She allowed to be scanned (-), collared and taken pictures of. Oritz didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held and was placed into a carrier for transport with ease.

10/21/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
The finder stated she got along well with her former small breed dog housemate and is very friendly. Reaction to assessor: Oritz looks neutral, lying down on her cage bedding when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Oritz stands with tail up and engages the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, meowing attention. Reaction to touch: Oritz head-butts the assessor’s hand, but randomly hisses during the touch as she continues to solicit. Placement determination: Experience Oritz tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
