JASPER – A1082352
Gone - 7-27-2016 Brooklyn
***GONE 07/27/16*** Jasper is an adorable six month old kitten who was brought into ACC with a group of other cats. It’s quite possible Jasper has spent his early days fending for himself on the streets so it’s only right for this kitten to be welcomed into a loving home. But if ACC has their way, Jasper will die tomorrow. Advocate for this cute tuxie boy before it is too late!

07/26/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Please note that Jasper is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. Reaction to assessor: Jasper was hiding when I approached the cage When spoken quietly: Jasper continues to hide in the litter box under the shedded paper Reaction to door cage opening: Jasper retreats Reaction to touch: Jasper leans away from touch and tries to flee Try picking cat up: Jasper is not tolerant of this type of handling. He is very afraid and tries to flee. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Jasper was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
