**SAFE 08/12/16** SECOND TIME FOR BEAUTIFUL BOBBI!! HOARDED, then taken to the ACC, tonight’s crowded At-Risk List repeats BOBBI, who is one of seven cats who used to be owned by someone who just couldn’t say “no” to one more cat. Please don’t let this good cat be killed after humans have done such a crappy job of caring for him! ALEX & GIN who were originally listed with BOBBI are both GONE!! BOBBI needs a FOSTER/ADOPTIVE hero to step up for him, tonight!

08/04/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Bobbi was due for a re-evaluation. Reaction to assessor: Bobbi does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed When spoken quietly: Bobbi comes to the front of cage soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: Bobbi remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Bobbi solicits petting and attention Try picking cat up: Bobbi is tolerant of this type of handling Behavior Determination: Beginner Bobbi was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Bobbi is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner. ————————————————————————————————————————————————— Reaction to assessor: Bobbi was sleeping in the middle of his cage When spoken quietly: Bobbi looked at the assessor nervously Reaction to door cage opening: Bobbi remains motionless Reaction to touch: Bobbi slowly comes to the front but seems remains wary of the assessor. Bobbi warms up and placed his paw of the assessor while seeking attention. Try picking cat up: Bobbi becomes tense when held Behavior Determination: Experience At the time of the assessment Bobbi was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices he relaxed a little. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
