WHISPPY is a 9 week old girl who actually got a cute photo taken which is rare at the ACC. Yet, because she tested positive for ringworm, a very common fungal rash that is easily treated, the shelter will just kill her. Seriously, they even gave her an excellent prognosis with treatment. WHISPPY got a super BEGINNER rating because she is not only cute but very affectionate. She is the epitome of a sweet and friendly kitten and should be in the arms of a loving adopter or foster!! 10/09/16 12:00 Whisppy is a 2 month old gray DSH with cloudy eyes. Whisppy was found wandering loose outside and allowed finder to pick her up. Whisppy was introduced to the finders dog and got along well with her. Finder described Whisppy as sweet and friendly. During intake Whispy was calm. She allowed to be scanned and collared with a loose wiggly body. Whisppy enjoyed being pet by counselor.

Whisppy was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Her finder reports that she was sweet friendly and allowed all handling when she found her. Whisppy was introduced to the finder’s dog and got along well with her. Reaction to assessor: Whisppy meows softly and was reaching out towards the assessor for attention. Reaction when softly spoken to: Whisppy continues to meow then lightly head butts the kennel door. Reaction to cage door opening: Whisppy is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Whisppy rubs up against the assessor, allows petting all over and appreciates attention. She is sweet, leans in for head & cheek rubs and is very affectionate. Reaction to being picked up: Whisppy is calm, relaxed and has a soft body when held. Behavior Determination: Beginner Whisppy interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
