WASABI is healthy except for the cold that the ACC gives to cats and should be headed to the Adoptions room not the Euth room!! Our enrichment facilitator has interacted with Wasabi and at the time she was calm. Wasabi chirps and comes forward. She allows petting all over with her tail up. Wasabi is very affectionate and purrs softly. Reaction to assessor: Wasabi does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed When spoken quietly: Wasabi does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: Wasabi remains relaxed Reaction to touch: Wasabi comes to the front of the cage seeking attention while purring Try picking cat up: Wasabi is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Average Wasabi was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Wasabi is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
