This purrfect, head-butting affectionate guy is just too darn sweet, friendly and easy to handle. In addition, he came into the shelter purrfectly healthy so was obviously well-taken care of. Now that this delish creamsicle has caught the shelter cooties, he has been fast-tracked to the at-risk list and is one of 29 precious lives in peril tonight. He’s got an excellent prognosis so don’t be deterred to help this gent. Rudy would be a purrfect companion to just about anyone–typical ginger boy–super loving and easy to handle. Reaction to assessor: Rudy comes to the front of the cage soliciting attention When spoken quietly: Rudy stays at front and continues soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: Rudy remains soft & relaxed Reaction to touch: Rudy solicits petting and attention Try picking cat up: Rudy is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Average Rudy was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Rudy is displaying behavior appropriate for a new or experienced cat owner.
