***SAFE 10/18/16*** BEGINNER RATED TREY WAS NUZZLING THE COUNSELLORS HAND AT INTAKE – BUT HIS SWEET BEHAVIOR WON’T KEEP HIM FROM BEING KILLED AT NOON! TREY was brought in as a stray. He is about 4 years old. At intake he allowed all handling and even nuzzled the hand of the intake person. He got a wonderful BEGINNER rating and was purring, rubbing and giving head – butts at his assessment. TREY is most likely a lost pet. He is a super friendly cat and would be anyone’s jewel to have as a kitty companion! TREY ONLY HAS TIL NOON TOMORROW TO BE SAVED. HE HAS A COLD AND THE ACC WILL KILL HIM FOR IT. PLEASE GET THIS SWEETIE PIE OUT OF HERE BY CONTACTING A RESCUE TO FOSTER OR ADOPT!!

10/03/16 16:19 Trey was brought into the care center as a stray. When the carrier was approached he walked to the door. When the door was opened, he poked his head and and nuzzled the couneslor’s hand when pet. He walked out onto the counter and allowed to be collared and photographed. He countined to nuzzled the couneslor throughout the admissions process.

Trey is a friendly and exotic-looking cat. He is looking for a new home with those lovely eyes. If you are searching for a new companion, Trey could be the perfect match. He is a mellow fellow who enjoys being petted while he eats. Trey is sweet and gentle and would make a gorgeous addition to any home.

Trey was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Trey meows softly then comes forward towards the assessor with his tail up. Reaction when softly spoken to: Trey lightly brushes against the kennel door and is very affectionate. Reaction to cage door opening: Trey is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Trey is sweet and rubs up against the assessor when he extends his hand out. He gives light head butts, purrs softly and allows petting all over his body. Reaction to being picked up: Trey is calm, relaxed, and has a soft body when held. Behavior Determination: Beginner Trey interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
