Medical Behavior Evaluation BLUE
Medical Summary 03/09/16 10:01 Scan : negative Sex: female Approx 10-12 months Hx: Presented via “good Sam” from VERG. Administered 0.03mg buprenorphine and 100ml SQ fluids prior to transport to ACC S/O: BAR. APP ++. Clean EENT. Very fearful this AM, will flee, brief exam, and medications administered. Front left paw severe infected necrotic wound extending from paw, to elbow. Skin is sloughing at distal ortion of wound, and copious purrulent and caseaous exudate. NOSF A: Necrotis paw wound. P: Continueing buprenorphine, clavama, and baytril treatments. Will monitor daily condition and appetite. NH rescue candidate, due to severe wound, right front limb amputation is likely indicated. Recommend CBC/CHem/UA, and surgical consultation. Permanent waiver from surgery at ACC PROGNOSIS: Guarded. Fair to good if surgery can be completed soon.
