With her great manners and super easy and kind disposition, it is likely that this sweetheart once had a home. She tolerates all petting and handling. She has caught the curable kitty cold and despite an excellent prognosis, she has been added to tonight’s at risk list. We can’t let a beginner kitty become another sad ACC stat. 09/10/16 14:49 Snowflake is a white DSH with no known medical conditions. Snowflake was found wandering loose and allowed finder to pick her up and pet her. Snowflake enjoyed being pet by the finder and liked to rub her body against their leg. During intake snowflake was curious and came right out of the carrier. Snowflake head butted counselors hand and enjoyed being pet. Snowflake allowed to be scanned and collared with a loose wiggly body.

09/13/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Snowflake was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Her finder was able to pick her up and pet her. The finder reports she enjoyed being pet and liked to rub her body against their leg. She was curious and came right out of the carrier upon intake, head-butting the counselor’s hand. She allowed all handling throughout the intake process and tolerated handling during her initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Snowflake was calm, relaxed, and friendly by the front. Reaction when softly spoken to: Snowflake sniffs around. Reaction to cage door opening: Snowflake greets the assessor by the opening. Reaction to touch: Snowflake head-butts, leans in for petting, and rolls over, purring. She is very affectionate throughout the interaction. Reaction to pick up: Snowflake remains soft and continues to purr when held. Placement Determination: Beginner Snowflake interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
