I am a spayed female gray and white domestic sh. The shelter thinks I am about 4 MONTHS old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/26/2016 from NY 11434, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

10/27/2016 Exam Type RE-EXAM – Medical Rating is 4 NC – SEVERE CONDITIONS NOT CONTAGIOUS, Behavior Rating is NONE, Weight 4.3 LBS.
10/27/16 Check right eye. O: QARH. mm=pink, moist, CRT<2 s. Eating well. EENT: OD – squinting, marked chemosis, ointment present. Cornea completely opacified, white/yellow in color, with central area of swelling and irregular appearance. OS – WNL. No nasal discharge. A: Conjunctivitis, likely ruptured eye OD. P: Continue current therapy. Good prognosis with appropriate treatment. May need enucleation if cornea does not heal.

10/26/16 10:42 Sherman came to ACC as as tray that was found last night. She was taken into the finders home. The finder reports that the Shermanw as affectionate, cuddled, and purred throughout her stay. Sherman was not exposed to other aniamls in the home. She only was allowed to interact wih the find. During, the admissions process Sherman meowed from inside the carrier. When approached she sat at the front of the carrier and when the door was opened she peeked outside the carrier. She allowed the couneslor to pick her up and placed her on the counter for photos and collaring. When picked up again, Sherman started to purr and nuzzled the couneslor.

Sherman was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Sherman was resting at the back of the kennel on her blanket. Reaction when softly spoken to: Sherman lifts her head up, makes eyes contact with the assessor but doesn’t get up or come forward when coaxed. Reaction to cage door opening: Sherman is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Sherman is unsure at first and slowly leans in to sniff the assessor. She rubs up for attention and allows petting all over. Her body is relaxed, her tail rises up and she appreciates attention. Reaction to being picked up: Sherman is calm, relaxed and leans in for rubs when held. Behavior Determination: Average Sherman interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
