***SAFE 03/07/16*** SECOND CHANCE FOR RIDDLER!! They say you can’t have too much of a good thing, but if you’re talking about cats? You can have too much of a good thing. That is what happened in the case of BATMAN, ROBIN & RIDDLER entering the ACC system straight from a hoarding situation. The ACC system is starting to get overcrowded since kitten season is right around the corner. Black cats especially get overlooked which is sad because they make awesome pets. Please don’t let it end for these cats in
this place, in this way. A cat should not be killed because the owners were deeply lacking in judgement. Be the change for this whole group of cats tonight. They need you more than ever. Contact a NEW HOPE RESCUE if you can foster or adopt.

Reaction to assessor: Riddler looks tense, hiding in the cat den when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Riddler remains crouched position in place, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Riddler avoids the assessor’s hand, hisses and attempts to escape the cage. Placement determination: NH ONLY Riddler is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. He is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
