***SAFE 10/18/16*** 4 WEEK OLD REIA WAS BROUGHT TO THE SHELTER YESTERDAY FOR A PET’S CONFLICT AND TODAY SHE IS ON THE KILL LIST ALREADY!!! The ACC doesn’t waste any time in killing owner surrenders, even when they are a 4 week old cutie pie like REIA. REIA was given to her owner by someone else. Thanks to her owner having no clue on how to properly introduce cats, she dumped REIA in the ACC because she thought her adult cat would hurt her. First of all, who adopts a 4 week old kitten? Kittens that age need their momma cat and are going to want to snuggle with another cat if they miss their litter! So REIA was brought to the ACC who saw she has a cold, and rather than finding a good foster, they want to kill her. We wonder if the real reason REIA was dumped was due to her owner not wanting to pay vet costs. REIA was a speedy little kitten at intake and they said she was hard to photograph. She was said to be friendly, affectionate and adventurous! WHO IS GOING TO RESCUE THIS BABY BY OFFERING TO FOSTER HER TIL SHE IS OLD ENOUGH FOR ADOPTION? FOSTERING IS FREE AND THE RESCUE PAYS VETTING. ALL YOU DO IS GIVE THE TLC AND LOVE!! PLEASE EMAIL THE HELP DESK AT [email protected] FOR RESCUE INFO. FOSTERS MUST LIVE LOCAL TO THE RESCUE THEY FOSTER FOR.

10/15/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/15/16 17:56 Reia A1093542 is a 4wk old female Torbie DSH kitten that was given to the owner from the previous owner a week ago and is being surrendered due to Reia not getting along with the adult resident cat. The owner is afraid they might hurt Reia. Reia hasn’t been to a veternarian and currently appears to have a cold as she has ocular/nasal discharge, sounds congested and isn’t interested in eating. Reia is litter box trained, is friendly, playful and adventurous. She ate some wet kitten food and slept around the home. It wasn’t noticed if she scratched on any items in the home. Reia allowed all handling. It took many tries to get a semi non blurry picture of Reia as she’s very fast and kept running and or power walking off the back drop table. She allowed to be scanned (-), collared and taken pictures of. Reia was then picked up/held and placed into a kennel with ease.
