PE: EENT WNL, PLN WNL, ORAL EXAM PALE PINK MM, MILD DENTAL TARTAR/GINGIVITIS, THORACIC AUSC WNL, ABD PALP — DISTENDED COLON WITH SEVERE FECAL BLOCKAGE FROM PELVIS EXTENDING CRANIAL 6-8 CM, M/S AMBULATORY ON ALL FOUR LIMBS, SKIN/HAIR UNKEMPT HAIRCOAT.
PROVIDED 75ML SQ FLUIDS.
DX; PARVO TEST NEGATIVE, FELV/FIV TEST NEGATIVE
CONDITION IS CONSIDERED SEVERE DUE TO SUSPECTED LONG STANDING IMPACTION AND RISK OF DE-OBSTIPATION.
RECOMMEND NEW HOPE PLACEMENT AND LOCAL VETERINARY HOSPITAL CARE FOR DE-OBSTIPATION. IF NO PLACEMENT RECOMMEND EHR DUE TO POOR PROGNOSIS.
