Quarto was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Quarto is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
A volunteer writes: Now, if Quarto’s name began with a C, he would be one of four parts; or he’d be a room. But since it starts with Q, its sounds like he’s a Spanish quart. But let’s not quibble. Whatever his name, this little guy is a sweet, funny and active, and he needs two things. First, he needs to trade his shelter kennel for a loving home where he can run and jump and play all the livelong day. And second, he needs to be with people who will play with him, cuddle him and love him without measure. He’s just that kind of kitty, cute and full of life. That sums Quarto up in a nutshell.
