She has lived with dogs and was described as relaxed and affectionate towards them, and reportedly plays gently with children. This lovely older girl needs follow up medical care for a mass on her eyelid.

Observed Behavior – Allows all handling Evidence of Cruelty seen – No Evidence of Trauma seen – No Objective P = 174 R = 28 BCS 7/9 EENT: Eyes clear, small mass from left upper eyelid conjunctiva, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Mild to moderate dental tartar/gingivitis PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: spayed MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, slightly unkempt, front declawed CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: Geriatric, eyelid mass, overweight, early dental disease Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC. 03/08/17 16:37 BASIC INFORMATION: Presshy is a brown tabby DSH cat, 12 yr old spayed female. Presshy was given to the owner as a gift 9 yrs ago. Presshy has no known health issues and has not been seen by a Veterinarian. Presshy has been surrendered to ACC due to owners residential move to a home that does not allow pets. SOCIALIZATION: Presshy is friendly and relaxed around strangers. She has resided with children and gets along well with them. Presshy does not play often but when she does, she plays gently with both adults and children. Presshy has resided with dogs, large and small breed dogs. Presshy is relaxed and affectionate towards dogs. She has not been exposed to cats or other types of animals. Presshy does not have a bite history. BEHAVIOR: Presshy meows during car rides. Presshy has both front paws declawed. Owner has not bathed Presshy and stated Presshy enjoys getting brushed. Presshy does not use a scratching post. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW: Presshy is best described as a friendly, affectionate and playful cat. She has a low activity level and enjoys lounging around. Presshy will follow her owner around and loves attention. She does not play with cat toys and is kept indoors only. Presshy enjoys sleeping on the bed or on the carpet. She eats dry food, from brand Rachel Ray and enjoys eating treats from brand Temptations chicken flavored. Presshy is litter box trained and uses a hooded/uncovered litter box with clumping litter. BEHAVIOR UPON INTAKE: Upon intake Presshy displayed a relaxed body and started to purr once the counselor began to pet her. Presshy scanned negative and allowed all handling.
