05/23/2011 WEB MEMO
A volunteer wrote: My name is Pepe, and I’m an 8 week old baby boy. I got my name from the poof of white fur on my back that makes me look like a tiny skunk! — my favorite things are jumping around, playing, chasing my foster brother’s tail, and sneaking under the covers to snuggle with my human friends at night. I really hope I can find a forever home where there will always be human friends to love. Please come meet me!
08/30/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Pepe looks tense, crouched down on his cage bedding when approahced by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Pepe stiffens up then slowly retreats and becomes alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Pepe began to lip lick in place while he slowly warms up and leans into the assessor’s hand, but seems unsure with his surroundings. Placement determination: Experience Pepe tolerates attention and petting, but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
