He’s rolling around in his cage at the ACC when he should be rolling around in someone’s home with the cat toy of his choice!! Why’s he listed?? Mator was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Mator was rolling around his kennel, makes eye contact then chirps at the assessor. Reaction when softly spoken to: Mator comes forward, meows softly then lightly head butts the kennel door. Reaction to cage door opening: Mator is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Mator is very sweet, chirps when petted and appreciates attention. He allows petting all over, rubs up and gives light head butts. Reaction to being picked up: Mator was a bit tense, got antsy and leaped back into the kennel. Behavior Determination: Average Mator interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
