**SAFE 03/28/16** MARVELOUS MARCEL IS A BEGINNER KITTY WITH A COLD AND NEEDS A RESCUE ANGEL TO GIVE HIM A FREEDOM RIDE!! A volunteer writes: Gentle, very sweet and friendly MARCEL loves being petted and does all he can with his head and body and eyes and voice to establish a connection with others. A staff member writes: As I walked into the Adoptions Ward, I saw one of the cutest tableaus ever. Marcel was lying comfortably on his back, paws folded in front of him as he presented his cheek and his chin to be petted by a volunteer. Marcel looked like some rich executive in a kitty salon who was getting a scalp massage. Nothing fazed him–not the audience who was enjoying the view, nor the camera phone that was in his face to capture the moment. Other cats would have stood up if their session was interrupted by gawkers. But Marcel was just so chill, as if used to humans buzzing around. The staff member who was there when he arrived at our facility described his behavior as flirtatious. Well, well, well…I think Marcel will soon charm his way into your heart and your home. MARCEL ROCKED THE HIGHEST BEGINNER RATING – PURRING, HEAD-BUTTING, AND LOVING ATTENTION ON HIS ASSESSMENT – HURRY AND GET THIS SUPER SWEET LOVE BUG OFF THIS LIST AND INTO YOUR HOME!! 03/11/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
03/11/16 10:24 Marcel A1067321 is a young male brown tabby & white DSH feline who was found in a book bag in the finder’s building. The finder isn’t willing/able to keep him. They stated his meowing/crying scared them so they brought him in with the bag he was found in. During intake Marcel allowed all handling. He’s very sweet; rolling over for belly rubs and head butting our hands and the camera lens. Marcel allowed to be scanned (-), collared & taken pictures of including positioning him during his photo session, it took us quite a few tries to get a picture of Marcel due to his flirtatious behavior. Marcel appeared to love the attention/affection and was placed into a kennel with ease.
