Mae was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Mae was at the front of the kennel meowing softly at the assessor and gently rubbing up for attention. Reaction when softly spoken to: Mae has a relaxed body, her tail is raised and she continues to solicit attention. Reaction to cage door opening: Mae is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Mae allows petting all over and gently brushes up for attention. She gives gently head butts, leans in when rubbed on her cheeks and appreciates attention. Reaction to being picked up: Mae is a bit tense when held then leaps back into the kennel. Behavior Determination: Average Mae interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
