LUMER – A1070216
Safe - 4-17-2016 Brooklyn Rescue: Feline Rescue of SI Please honor your pledges: http://felinerescueofstatenisland.org/donation/
**SAFE 04/17/16*** FIV+ SENIOR! One look at Lumer, and a person simply wants to bundle him into their arms. Lumer is said to be about 15 years old, a stray, who found his way into the shelter with a couple of health issues. The shelter notes indicate that he’s FIV+ and has a heart murmur, so of course, a geriatric exam would be in order. The most compelling thing about Lumer is that rumpled, yet optimistic vulnerability that shines through on his shelter intake photo. No one can say what this cat has been through, but everyone who is looking at his thread has a say in what happens for him tomorrow. Without the help of the Urgent PODR family, Lumer will be killed—end of story. With the help of the Urgent PODR family, there is every chance that Lumer can enjoy the love he has been missing, for whatever time he has left. Please don’t let it end for him on that cold table tomorrow, in the bowels of the ACC. Advocate ferociously for AVERAGE-rated LUMER, tonight!
