LOU – A1060956
Gone - 1-6-2016 Brooklyn
**GONE 01/06/15 ** LOVELY LOU IS SO WISHING FOR A HOME TONIGHT….LOU is a two year old stray who is very tired of being at the ACC. Her behavior rating has gone from AVERAGE to EXPERIENCE because it looks like LOU is giving up HOPE….She also needs a competent vet exam and has already undergone spay surgery. But now of course she has the ACC “cold” so instead of getting her treated, it’s much easier to list her…..DON’T LET LOU LOSE HOPE!! APPLY TO FOSTER OR ADOPT HER AND LET HER KNOW THE GOOD LIFE IN A LOVING HOME!!

12/23/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Lou behavior has started to change so a re-eval was done. Reaction to assessor: Lou watches the assessor with wide eyes from the litter box When spoken quietly: Lou watches the assessor with wide eyes from the litter box Reaction to door cage opening: Lou remains motionless Reaction to touch: Lou seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Behavior Determination: Experience At the time of the assessment lou was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. ————————————————————————————————————————————————— 12/21/15 Lou was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She was easy to handle upon intake and although she was timid during her initial medical exam, she tolerated all handling. The enrichment facilitator has reported her displaying nervous behavior, but allows all handling, keeping her head low. Reaction to assessor: Lou was resting in her cage upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Lou opens her eyes, and then closes it again to rest. Reaction to cage door opening: Lou remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Lou remains in place for petting and leans slightly on the assessor’s hand. Reaction to pick up: Lou remains soft and allows all handling. Placement Determination: Average Lou interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
