12/21/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
12/21/15 15:00 hrs Monty A1061123 was found outside of her home. His owner passed away and she has been living outdoors. The owners nephew has been providing him food, shelter and a litterbox for the last two weeks. He managed to lure him into a carrier with cat food. Behavior during intake Monty was shy and fearful. She was tense with wide eyes. When placed on the backdrop for photographs, He tried to flee. We were able to calm him down by petting his head and body. He tolerated petting. He allowed to be scanned(-) and collared. He was transferred into a kennel and he retreated to the back of the kennel.

12/24/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Monty looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Monty remains crouched position on his scage bedding, body held tightly in place, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Monty began to lip lick and quietly meow at the assessor then he accepts the stroke, but shows no interest with the touch. Placement determination: Experience / no child Monty tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
