LOLO JONES – A1065547
Safe - 2-27-2016 Manhattan Rescue: Mary's Kitty Korner Please honor your pledges: http://www.maryskittykorner.org/
***SAFE 02/27/16*** SWEET LOLO JONES is a gorgeous black and white Tuxedo kitty with orange eyes! This one year old female was found at a senior citizens home, but the seniors are not allowed to have pets there. The finder said LOLO was at her door, probably looking for a good home. This cutie was probably someone’s pet and is in need of a new home fast before she is put to death at the shelter tomorrow! Don’t delay in saving this precious girl-cat. LOLO JONES is calm and lets herself be pet, but she can get overstimulated if she’s pet too much. She’d do great in an experienced pet home, where she can bond with her new family on her own terms. This adorable kitty has lap cat potential and hopefully a long pampered life to live! Please foster or adopt LOLO JONES TODAY!!!

02/23/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Lolo looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Lolo remains resting on her cage bedding, alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: Lolo accepts the stroke, but becomes agitated with the touch then gentle nips and swats (no claws) at the assessor’s hand while her tail low flicks in place. Placement determination: Experience / no child Initially Lolo Jones solicits petting and attention, but after a few soft passes over the body he/she begins to gentle nips and swats ( no claws ) at the assessor. This may be a sign of petting-induced aggression, where repeated physical contact results in discomfort for the cat, or it may be a sign of overstimulation. As a result of this observed behavior we recommend adopters who are familiar with signs of behavioral arousal and agitation in cats, so that interactions can be ended before Lolo becomes reactive. Treats should be used to reward appropriate responses to physical attention.
