03/06/16 18:27 Basic Info: J Lo is a 13yr old female brown tabby DSH feline who was given to the owner as a christmans gift from a friend 13 yeras ago and is being surrendered due to the owner moving to where pets aren’t allowed. The Owners fiancé is also allergic. J Lo’s last vet visit was in July 2015 and she has no known health issues. Socialization: Around strangers J Lo is shy and will hide for a few minutes. After she is comfortable, she will come out and sniff the company. J lo has not been around children. She also has not been around other dogs or cats. She has not bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: During car rides J Lo will meow/cry. She isn’t bothered by the following: being picked up/held or with being placed into a carrier. J lo does not mind being bathed, brushed or nail trimming. She is very tolerant with the owner. J lo is litter box trained. She has not had any accidents out of the box. For a New Family to Know: J Lo is described as friendly, affectionate, playful, mellow, confident, assertive, and shy with strangers with a medium activity level. The owner likes how affectionate she is. When the owner is home J Lo follows him around. She often keeps to herself but will meow when she wants to play or wants attention. She enjoys ball toys of yarn and is an indoor only cat. J Lo eats dry & wet Meow Mix 1 full bowl a day. She is uncovered litter box trained with crystal litter within. J Lo uses a scratching post made of carpet. Intake Behavior: J Lo had a soft body & soft eyes. She allowed all handling. She allowed to be scanned (-), collared & taken pictures of including positioning her during her photo session. She didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held & was placed into a kennel with ease.

Reaction to assessor: J Lo looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: J Lo remains lying down on her cage bedding, alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: J Lo stands with tail up, head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: She calmly jumps back into the cage. Placement determination: Average J Lo interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. o This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
