ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: Two descended testicles
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: UR
Assessment: healthy
Prognosis: Excellent
Plan: Neuter

KNOWN HISTORY:
Houdini was brought in as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment.
MEDICAL BEHAVIOR:
3/14/18 Subjective: Obese, hissing in kennel at handler. Placed in free net for stress free brief exam
ENRICHMENT NOTES:
Resting at front, soft eyes and body, looking around. Meowed when spoken to, ate a few offered treats, then stood and started eating dry food. Went to lay down in litter box when done. Lay in place when door opened, leaned hard into pets, closed eyes, purred quietly. Started grooming after door closed.

No change
Reaction to assessor:
Houdini remains neutral, lying down on his cage bedding during the approach.
Reaction when softly spoken to:
Houdini lifts up head with soft eyes, loose body.
Reaction to cage door opening:
Houdini remains in place, ears erect and forward.
Reaction to touch:
Houdini stands with tail up, leans into the assessor’s hand and purrs during the touch.
Reaction to being picked up:
He becomes antsy then jumps back into the cage.
