Fettucine 22980 – 4 yr. male orange tabby, owner abandoned in an apartment after being evicted:
ENRICHMENT NOTES:
03/17/18
Tense, low body posture. His eyes widen and he slowly backs away as I approach. Seems uncomfortable. Tolerant of touch, squints and starts to lip lick. Not interested in treats. Kept interaction short. Offered cage cover and kuranda bed. Needs more time.
03/18/18
Crouched in back of kennel, tail wrapped around feet. Flinches when I lift the cage cover and makes eye contact with wide eyes. He remains very still and tense as I place treats down next to him. He begins to sniff the air but won’t eat the treats as long as I’m watching. Nervous and focused on environment. Needs some time to adjust .
