10/22/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Helen was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Helen was at the front of the kennel reaching out with paws towards the assessor. Reaction when softly spoken to: Helen makes biscuits on the bogus paper and lightly brushes against the door. Reaction to cage door opening: Helen is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Helen sniffs the assessor’s hand, rubs up for attention and allows petting all over. She rolls around, leans in when rubbed on her cheek and will pauses and focus on her surroundings. Reaction to being picked up: Helen remains calm when picked up and allows all handling. Behavior Determination: Average Helen interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
