I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/19/2016 from NY 11232, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K16-078553.

10/30/16 Sneezing noted on rounds. O: BAR. Eating well. EENT: Sneezing, mild nasal discharge, sneeze marks in cage. Squinting OS with clear discharge, hazy corneal opacity. A: URI. Conjunctivits and/or corneal ulcer OS. P: Rx Doxycycline 50 mg/ml 0.5 ml PO q 24 hours x 10 days. Rx Terramycin oint Apply OS BID x 10 days. Excellent prognosis.

10/19/16 15:36 Upon intake Barry Bonds was vocal and began meowing loudly when cousnelor approached the carrier. He walked out the carrier with wet food and cousnelor was able to collar, scan and photograph.

Barry Bonds was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Barry Bonds was at the front of the kennel reaching out with paws towards the assessor. Reaction when softly spoken to: Barry Bonds purrs softly then gently head butts the kennel door. Reaction to cage door opening: Barry Bonds is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Barry Bonds is sweet, purrs softly and allows petting all over. He leans in when rubbed on his cheeks, gives soft head butts and is incredibly affectionate. Reaction to being picked up: Barry Bonds is calm, relaxed and has a soft body when held. Behavior Determination: Beginner Barry Bonds interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
