Frankie was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Gina was alert with wide eyes at the front of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Gina lip licks and takes a step back when spoken to softly. Reaction to cage door opening: Gina is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Gina leans forward, sniffs the assessor’s hand and lightly rubs up for attention. She allows petting all over and slowly walks out the kennel. Reaction to being picked up: Gina was a bit tense but allowed all handling. Behavior Determination: Average Gina interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
