***SAFE 04/02/16*** KITTEN! That’s right, Franklin is a 10-month-old kitten who was stuffed into a carrier with 6 other cats, and left to endure whatever Fate could find for them. Unfortunately, what Fate found for this group was the ACC, where they were named for the Peanuts cartoon characters and then locked into small metal cells. Franklin is understandably freaked out by the shelter, but he still pulled off a totally respectable EXPNOCHILD rating. Please make sure this young lad lives long enough to celebrate his first birthday by advocating strongly for Franklin, tonight!

03/31/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Franklin looks tense in the cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Franklin remains crouched position at the back of the cage, yowling in place. Reaction to touch: Franklin accepts brief strokes, but becomes agitated with the touch and hisses at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: Experience / no child Franklin tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
