CHOCO – A1080823
Gone - 7-15-2016 Manhattan
**GONE 07/15/16** TRAPPED and also, possibly ROUGHED UP! What’s happening with his sweet face?! Two-year-old CHOCO was trapped by someone, taken to the ACC as a stray, and then who knows what went wrong? Somehow he got away from them during his initial medical exam and the ACC staff ended up NETTING him, during which process he was CALM! No hissing! No swatting! Fast forward a couple of days and CHOCO earns a NEW HOPE rating because the shelter has him so rattled. Plus, check out his medical notes! NOWHERE does the ACC refer to the reddened, raw skin which clearly shows up in his photographs; were they thinking those red areas would be overlooked by anyone else? It’s clear this cat has gotten a RAW DEAL from life lately, and that has GOT to be turned around tonight! Only a NEW HOPE rescue can pull CHOCO to safety, tonight!

Reaction to touch: Choco does not allow the stroke then hisses and growls at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY Choco is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room.
