***SAFE 08/22/16*** WHO WILL GO TO BAT FOR CASEY TONIGHT? CASEY was found in someone’s yard. They said they couldn’t keep him but wanted to get him out of the area because “someone was trying to kill him”. So thinking the ACC was a “shelter” they dumped him there. Since then the “shelter” has done nothing to get this super sweet and friendly boy adopted. A volunteer writes: Casey is vocal about wanting affection. He is so handsome, how can you resist? He looks at you with these big beautiful eyes and you are hooked! He loves to be held and snuggled. He is very aware and curious about his surroundings. If you love snuggling and affection, then come to the Manhattan Animal Care Center and snuggle home with Casey! WOW – CASEY SOUNDS LIKE THE PURR-FECT KITTY TO ME! HURRY AND CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO PULL THIS LOVE-BUG TO SAFETY. OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT NOW! EMAIL [email protected] IF YOU NEED RESCUE INFO.

08/05/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
08/05/16 09:20 Casey A1084216 is a young male gray tabby DSH feline who was found in the finder’s courtyard of their residence. They aren’t able/willing to keep him but had to remove him from the area due to them stating people were trying to “kill him”. They stated they lured Casey into a carrier with food and brought him to our BXAC. During intake Casey was nervous/fearful as he would tremble and attempt to flee. For these reasons I placed the carrier into the kennel where he walked out on his own. I was unable to take his picture on the backdrop but he did allow me to scan (-) him & collar him.
