Lying in back of kennel with a low body. She sniffs my hand as I reach forward and tilts her ears. Turns head to continue smelling my hand as I pet her along her back. She relaxes with continued petting and begins to lean in, ears shifting forward and eyes closing. Has potential to warm up.

Carrot becomes alert and focuses on the assessor, but blinks softly after.

Carrot lies down and rolls over on her back, and then rubs her face on her toy.

Carrot becomes alert, but remains in place and wraps her tail around her body.
Reaction to touch:
Carrot sniffs the assessor’s hand and head-butts lightly. She accepts petting and leans in for cheek rubs, meows softly, kneads on her blanket, and purrs.

Carrot was tense during pick up, but remains calm when held.
