***SAFE 10/18/16***BLACK AND WHITE CUTIE WITH GREAT BEHAVIOR RATING NEEDS YOU! Carnegie is a seven year old sweetheart who was trapped in the Bronx by someone who makes a hobby and habit of dumping cats at the shelter. Carnegie is as kind and gentle as they come–he is tolerant of all petting and handling, enjoys attention and even likes being picked up. He is most likely someone’s lost or abandoned pet. But tomorrow afternoon, he will become another sad ACC stat unless his rescue angel steps up to help him tonight. This great guy couldn’t be any friendlier. Let’s do everything we can to move him to safe haven. Let us know if you can foster or adopt. Transportation is available. Email our help desk for assistance–[email protected] Carnegie deserves to live a happy new life. He deserves to live period. But he won’t get that chance unless YOU can make that happen. So what are you waiting for?????

10/07/16 17:48 Carnegie A1092690 is a 7yr old male white with black on his ears & tail DSH feline who was found on the street in the Bronx late last night by a regular client that brings in animals they find. They stated Carnegie is a sweet “pushover” that uses a litter box, ate some wet & dry cat food mixed together and allowed them to place him into a carrier to be brought in. During intake Carnegie allowed handling although he flinches when touched, tries to dodge being pet/touched and or tries to run away. He allowed to be scanned (-), collared and taken pictures of. He doesn’t seem to mind being picked up/held for too long but he will struggle to get away and was placed into a kennel with ease.
