11/08/16 13:40 Basic Information Cardie is an approximate 1 year old female domestic short hair. She was living in an abandon building. Finder stated there may have been people living there but was not taking care of the pet. Cardie looked very sick. Finder decided it was best that the cat be brought here. Finder stated Cardie tolerated all handling. He was able to pick her up and place her in a carrier. No signs of aggression were displayed while under the care of the finder. Behavior during Intake Cardie tolerated all handling. No signs of aggression were displayed during the intake procedure.

Reaction to assessor: Cardie looks neutral, lying down on her cage bedding when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Cardie sits up in place, alert with eyes squinting. Reaction to touch: Cardie leans away from the assessor’s hand, but once touched she began to show no interest to the stroke. Placement determination: Experience Cardie tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
