The 3 year old has a inflammation on his eyelid and the sniffles. Antibiotics can cure what ales him BUT NOT unless someone can FOSTER OR ADOPT him! 10/18/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Camry was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Cambry was curled up in his litter box with her tail at her side. Reaction when softly spoken to: Cambry slow blinks at the assessor then lowers his head and tries to avoid eye contact. Reaction to cage door opening: Cambry remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Cambry arches his back then hisses with ears bent flat and moves away. He raises his paw as a warning, lip licks and currently doesn’t allow any contact. Behavior Determination: New Hope Only Cambry is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. He has tried to strike and is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
