Profile
Basic Profile
Biscuit is a big cat who was surrendered due to time constraints in his owner’s life. He is six years old and lived with his previous owner for his entire life.
Socialization
Biscuits was described as outgoing around strangers. He has lived with infants-6 year olds. He was generally respectful of these children but would run away or hiss if they became rough with him. He lived with his sister their entire lives. He was affectionate with this other cat. He has never lived with dogs.
Behavior
Biscuits will sometimes scratch furniture. If his litter box isn’t clean, he will poop outside of it. He will occassionally allow to be held, but will struggle after a few seconds.
For a New Family to Know
Biscuit was described as friendly, affectionate, and independent. He can either be found sun bathing by a window or following his owner asking for food. He is used to dry food, a hooded litter box, and clumping litter.
Behavior During Intake
Biscuit sniffed counselors hand and allowed counselor to remove him from carrier. He allowed for collaring. His body posture became more tense and low to the table when the matts on his back would be touched. He walked into a new carrier on his own.
