**GONE 09/07/16*** BEAUTIFUL BELLE WAS TRAPPED AND DUMPED IN THE ACC – SHE IS PERFECTLY HEALTHY BUT WILL DIE FOR HER FEAR! This is a story of Beauty and the Beast but the BEAST is the ACC. Yes, this story just started and will end at NOON tomorrow. The clock is ticking and that last petal will fall when the clock strikes noon for poor BELLE. BELLE is a healthy 2 year old tortie girl who was invited to a feast of some good cat food inside a trappers trap and sadly she is in prison and on death row now all because she was hungry. BELLE is NEW HOPE only rated because she is not wanting to be touched and lifted her paw to swat. Can you blame her? BELLE NEEDS A HERO AND IF YOU CAN GIVE HER STORY THAT FAIRY TALE ENDING, PLEASE HURRY AND EMAIL THE HELP DESK AT [email protected] NOW FOR RESCUE INFO. FOSTERING WILL SAVE HER LIFE – SHE NEEDS A CHANCE NOW AND YOU ARE HER ONLY HOPE!!!

Reaction to assessor: Belle looks tense, sitting upright on her cage bedding when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Belle becomes stiff and alert with eyes wandering. Reaction to touch: Belle does not allow the touch, retreats, and raises paw attempting to swat. Placement determination: NH ONLY Belle is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. She is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
