**29-Pound Sweet Orange Tabby – BEANIE – Needs You ASAP at BACC!**

Beanie A1066123 – 10 yr. neutered orange tabby,OS, 29 POUNDS!
BASIC INFORMATION: Beanie is a neutered, orange tabby/white DSH cat. Beanie is over weight and is unable to walk properly due to his obesity. Beanie was surrendered to ACC due to owner becoming ill.
SOCIALIZATION: Beanie is very friendly and social towards strangers. He allows strangers to pet him & loves affection. Beanie has been exposed to a 9 yr old child & behaves well with the child. Beanie tolerates child play & plays gently. He is friendly towards the adults in the home & loves to be pet. Beanie has resided with another cat & was very respectful & tolerant. Beanie has not been exposed to dogs or other animals. He has not bitten or scratched anyone withing the past 10 days.
BEHAVIOR: Beanie is tolerant of baths & grooming. Beanie also allows owner to trim his nails, Due to Beanies obesity, he is unable to walk properly and has stopped using a litter box. Beanie allows owner to pick him up & also allows owner to place him in a carrier. Beanie may scratch on furniture made with fabric.
FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW: Beanie is best described as a friendly, affectionate & mellow cat. His activiity level is low & does not play with cat toys. Beanie loves to rub up against his blanket & lounge around. He would do best in a home with a couple. Beanie has been kept indoors only. Beanie enjoys sleeping on a pillow and on owners bed. He loves to eat dry food 2X times daily. Owner will sometimes give him tuna fish as a treat.
BEHAVIOR UPON INTAKE: Beanie displayed a loose relaxed body & allowed all handling. Beanie scanned nehgative.

weight: 29.4lbs
bright eyes
clean ears – em negative
dirty coat – flea negative – covered in urine
almost no teeth in mouth – only 4 molars left
obese but able to move around very well
client stated he had a wound on right hind leg – no wound seen
overall body condition is good
very sweet boy – easy to handle – very affectionate
