10/15/16 13:29 Finder was able to pick Baseball up with his hands and bring to our facility. Finder stated that animal allowed all handling. Behavior during intake: Baseball was relaxed during intake. I was able to scan for a mc, collar and take a picture without any issues. Animal allowed all handling.

Baseball came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Baseball was relaxed and allowed all handling. Reaction to assessor: Baseball approaches the front of the cage. Reaction when softly spoken to: Baseball looks at the assessor and presses against the cage front. Reaction to cage door opening: Baseball remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Baseball head-butts the assessor, allows petting all over body. Reaction to pick up: Baseball is calm during this type of handling. Placement Determination: Beginner Baseball approaches the assessor, solicits petting and attention and allows all handling. Baseball is exhibiting behavior suited to beginning cat parents.
